Four killed in Jammu fire
Four members of a family including a baby died on Tuesday in a fire in Doda district of Jammu region, police said.
A senior police officer said here that the fire engulfed the house of Abdul Rashid Butt in Gadan village in the early hours of Tuesday.
Butt's wife Fata Begum, daughter-in-law Mubeena and seven-month-old granddaughter also died in the incident.
"Some cattle owned by the family also perished in the fire," the officer said.
He said an FIR had been registered and the exact cause of the fire was being established.
