Four landmines recovered in Jharkhand

Four landmines were recovered Monday in Jharkhand's Latehar district, 130 km from here, police said.
According to police, the landmines, which were planted in a series near the state highway in the Barwadih police station area of the district, were recovered during a search operation by security personnel.
The landmines were later defused by the bomb disposal squad.
Maoist guerrillas are active in 18 of the 22 districts of the state.
