British singer Gary Barlow will reportedly go to Afghanistan to meet people in Camp Bastion in Helmand province.
Barlow, who was honoured by the queen with the prestigious Order Of British Empire (OBE) for his charity work, will utilise the break from filming reality show "The X Factor" to meet the locals of the war effected province, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"Although 'The X Factor' is a big commitment, Gary has some free time between now and the live shows," a source said.
His journey will be video-taped and included in an hour-long documentary made by channel ITV.
