Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh will be ready with two multi-level parking complexes in October, an official said.

Ghaziabad Development Authority acting vice chairman Ravendra Madhukar Godbole said these would come up at the Vaishali metro station and near the district headquarters.

At the metro station, the complex would house 500 cars and 1,500 two-wheelers. Ninety percent construction work of the Rs.35 crore project had been completed, Godbole said.

The other, almost complete, parking complex would accommodate 200 cars and cost Rs.15 crore.

"Ghaziabad, a densely populated city, needs more parking facilities," he said. Ghaziabad district borders the Indian capital.
