Separatist guerrillas Friday shot dead a man while hijacking a civilian vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir which they used to later attack an army camp, officials said.
Three other civilians were injured when the attackers in army uniform fired at the vehicle at Dayala Chak in Kathua district of Jammu region at around 4.30 a.m.
After hijacking the vehicle, the gunmen attacked an army camp near Janglote in the same district, triggering a gun battle.
"The gunmen escaped in the same vehicle. A massive hunt has been launched for them," the officer said.
Dayala Chak is located 55 km from Jammu on the Jammu-Pathankot highway.
