Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad Tuesday filed his nomination papers for the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and state Congress president Saifuddin Soz accompanied Azad to the office of the returning officer in Kathua town to file his papers.

A statement issued by the returning officer of Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituency said four nominations papers were received Tuesday, including those of Azad, Arshad Mailk of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Anil Khajuria and Bansi Lal, both Independents.
