Young actress Alia Bhatt, who travelled across six states in north India for her next film "Highway", says the experience of working in the movie has turned out to be an "experience she never had".
"This film ('Highway') is not a film for me. This is an experience that I never had. I started working at the age of 18 and I always complained about that one experience that may be I will never have.
"You know...like going to college, being independent. But this is that experience. It is literally like video taping yourself and then releasing it. This is not a film for me, it is my journey, physical and emotional," the 20-year-old said here Monday at the first look launch of the film.
"Highway" has not only been directed by Imtiaz Ali but he has also turned producer with it in collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala.
The film hits theatres Feb 21 next year.
