The third convocation of Shoolini University was held here on Tuesday, with spiritual master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar handing out doctoral degrees to its students.
A total of 1,617 students, who had passed out of the university in over two years, were conferred degrees.
The founder of the Art of Living Foundation said one should remember three things in life -- meditation is the solution for anxiety and insecurity; one should be able to face humiliation; and that one should adapt to all situations and live in the present.
Earlier, he was received by Chancellor Ramesh K. Mehan and Vice Chancellor P.K. Khosla.
Former President of India A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was chief guest at the varsity's first convocation in 2013.
