Paul Walker's tragic death has left many filmmakers figuring out what to do with his roles. It is reportedly said that the late actor will be replaced by "Homeland" star Rupert Friend in "Agent 47".
Walker died in a massive car crash in November 2013.
While the "Fast and Furious" franchise is not replacing him, makers of "Agent 47" have reportedly hired Rupert for the role in the film, a follow-up to the 2007 movie "Hitman", reports contactmusic.com.
"Agent 47" will be directed by first time director Aleksander Bach.
The "Hitman" franchise is based on a video game, and Timothy Olyphant played the lead role in the 2007 film.
Rupert appeared in films like" The Young Victoria" and "Pride & Prejudice". He has been on "Homeland" since 2012.
Besides "Agent 47", Walker had many projects in the works. His latest film "Hours" was released Dec 13, two weeks after he died.
