It was hot, humid and sunny Saturday morning in the national capital with minimum temperature settling at 30.1 degrees, two notches above the season's average.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy in day ahead and very light rain or thunderstorm likely to occur in some areas towards the evening or night," said an India Meteorological Department official.
Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degree Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 62 per cent.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 39.5 degrees Celsius, the average for the season while minimum temperature settled at 25.8 degrees, two notches below the season's average.
