German football giants Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben says he misses teammate Franck Ribery and is eager to rekindle his partnership with the Frenchman on the field.
Ribery recently has been plagued with injuries and has been out of action since March as Bayern bowed out of the European Champions League and DFB-Pokal semi-finals.
"We support him, we hope that he will soon be able to play again. I miss him already, and our time together on the pitch. It was either him, or I, who was injured in the past. For a long time we could not play together," Robben was quoted as saying by goal.com on Sunday.
"Our partnership has to come back," the 31-year-old Dutchman.
Bayern have confirmed the 32-year-old Ribery is recovering fast, and is expected to make a comeback in September.
