Rating agency ICRA Ltd Friday announced a 21.64 percent rise in its net profit to Rs.27.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 from Rs.22.60 crore for the same period a year ago.
The firm's total income for the fourth quarter last fiscal stood at Rs.56.41 crore compared to Rs.52.96 crore for the same period previous fiscal, reflecting growth of seven percent, it said in a release here.
"The growth in operating revenue was mainly led by debt ratings, besides NSIC (National Small Industries Corporation)/SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) business ratings, even as bank loan ratings remained subdued during the period under consideration," the company said.
For the full year, ICRA's total income stood at Rs.164.84 crore in 2012-13 against Rs.159.10 crore in 2011-12.
