The Indian men's basketball contingent will leave Friday night for a training camp in Turkey July 20-29 to prepare for the 27th FIBA Asia Championship in Manila Aug 1-11.
India will play four warm-up games against various professional clubs across Istanbul.
India beat both Nepal and Afghanistan in the South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Zone Qualifiers held here at the Thyagraj Stadium from June 2-4, sealing their birth in the Asian meet.
This will be head coach Scott Flemming's first championship with the team.
The squad: Sambhaji Kadam, Narender Kumar Grewal, Pratham Singh, Vinay Kaushik, Arjun Singh, Vishesh Bhriguvanshi, Amritpal Singh, Joginder Singh, Satnam Singh Bhamara, Amjyot Singh, Yadwinder Singh, Rikin Shantilal Pethani.
