A 23-year-old Indian woman, who allegedly attempted suicide, is still being treated for critical injuries at a hospital in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The woman is being treated for critical injuries at Rashid Hospital in Dubai after she fell from the third floor of a building in Deira City Centre here around 7 p.m. Sunday, the Gulf News reported Wednesday.
The police suspect that the woman might have been suffering from psychological problems.
Police say that some people saw the woman and her father arguing in the mall, which may have contributed to her state of mind.
They are investigating that under what circumstances the girl had jumped from the building.
She is likely to face charges because the UAE law prohibits people from taking their own life.
