Border Security Force (BSF) troopers Tuesday foiled an infiltration bid by militants at the international border in Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
"An infiltration bid by a group of four-five terrorists was foiled this morning (Tuesday) by BSF troopers in Arnia sub-sector of Jammu," BSF sources told IANS.
"Alert troopers fired after noticing suspicious movement on the international border at 4 a.m. today, forcing the terrorists to withdraw back."
The BSF guards the international border in Jammu and Kashmir while the Line of Control is guarded by the army.
