Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa has been advised few days stay in the hospital for recuperative treatment, said a medical bulletin on Thursday.
In a statement issued late Thursday Apollo Hospitals said Jayalalithaa, who was admitted to the hospital for fever, has responded well to the treatment.
"Necessary evaluation tests are being carried out. The Honourable Chief Minister has been advised few days stay in the hospital for recuperative treatment," Apollo Hospitals said.
On September 22, Jayalalithaa was admitted in Apollo for fever and dehydration.
Subsequently the hospital said she was cured of fever and was under observation and is taking normal diet.
