Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalaltihaa on Monday inaugurated Amway India Enterprises' Rs.550 crore in the state, an official statement said.
The plant located in Dindugul district was inaugurated by Jayalalithaa through video conferencing from the state secretariat, said a state government statement.
The plant is located on a 50 acre plant in Nilakottai in Dindugul, around 430 km from here.
According to the statement, Amway India's first Indian plant would provide direct employment to 500 people.
