Actor Sunil-starrer Telugu action-drama "Krishnashtami", despite being panned by critics, managed to rake in Rs.6 crore in its opening weekend in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
"The film has worked with the masses. Hence, the numbers have been good. It has collected Rs.6 crore in the first three days since its release. If it can sustain for the next two days, it's headed for a very successful first week run," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Directed by Vasu Varma, the film also stars Nikki Galrani and Dimple Chopade.
Produced by Dil Raju, the film has music by Dinesh Kanagarathnam.
