Land Rover on Wednesday launched Discovery Sport - the new addition to the Discovery family of vehicles in India with prices starting from Rs.46.10 lakh.
"The Discovery Sport, an exceptional combination of technology, design, off-road and on-road capability, charts a new territory which will be tough for its peers to enter into," Rohit Suri, president of Jaguar Land Rover India, said in a statement.
The company said the new vehicle was equipped with 2.2 litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines, available in 140 kW SD4 and 110 kW TD4 derivatives.
It features high-quality materials and a strong vertical center console graphic to reflect the premium design of the exterior.
Storage solutions are integrated into the cabin as well with power points and USB charging sockets, allowing multiple electronic devices to be charged simultaneously.
