Pop star Madonna was seen swigging tequila from a fan's hip flask and asked the crowd to "please take care of me" as she took to the stage here for a show.
The 57-year-old singer, who is locked in a bitter custody dispute with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over their son Rocco, couldn't contain her emotions while she performed at the Rod Laver Arena. She even made an emotional plea to the crowd, begging: "Somebody take care of me please. Who is going to take care of me?"
She even fell off a tricycle, and told her fans she had "messed up' her songs, according to The Sun newspaper, reports dailymail.co.uk.
Then she joked: "You would think it was in my DNA."
Madonna, it seems, is very affected by Rocco's decision to live with his father in London.
The "Living for love" singer even dedicated a song to estranged son Rocco, 15.
A source said: "Being cut out of Rocco's life has hit Madonna hard and it's clear she blames Guy."
