Known for his smooth dance moves and awe-inspiring action sequences, actor Tiger Shroff, who is prepping for his second film "Baaghi", says he had to go through extensive training in Kalaripayattu for the actioner.
Kalaripayattu is a martial art form which originated as a style in Kerala.
"I underwent extensive training in Kalaripayattu before we started shoot as the martial art form is an important part of the film. It was a thoroughly enriching experience," Tiger said in statement.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, "Baaghi" also stars actress Shraddha Kapoor.
Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film's trailer will release on March 14.

Vishal-Shekhar to begin US tour on March 25
Bollywood's musical duo Vishal-Shekhar will set out on a US tour to regale their fans starting March 25.
Vishal tweeted: "Finally! The FINAL dates and cities that we're performing in, on the Vishal And Shekhar US Tour feat."
The 12-day-tour will start from March 25 in Austin, Texas, and will conclude on April 17 in San Jose, California.

Nimrat Kaur turns 34, B-Town sends in wishes
Hindi cinema's "simple but firebrand" actress Nimrat Kaur, who turned 34 on Sunday, has been wished a "great" year by her friends from the film fraternity.
"Happy birthday to one of the most unassuming and simple but firebrand Punjabi kudi... Have a blast Nimrat. Come back to party," filmmaker Nikkhil Advani tweeted.
Nimrat is popular for playing Ila in the 2013 film "The Lunchbox". The actress was also part of 2012 the "Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana" and was last seen on-screen in January in "Airlift".
The actress was also seen in the fourth season of the American television series "Homeland", in which she played Tasneem Qureshi, an Inter-Services Intelligence agent. She will also be seen in "Wayward Pines", a new TV series.
Actor Saqib Saleem shared: "Happy birthday our international star Nimrat... Keep making us proud.. Love", while Riteish Deshmukh said: "Happy Birthday Nimrat. Have a great one."
Filmmaker Karan Johar wished her a "spectacular year", and sent out a "huge hug".
