English Premier League (EPL) giants Manchester United and Arsenal are eyeing Brazilian defender Mario Fernandes.
Fernandes' club CSKA Moscow is understood to have placed a 20 million-pound price tag on the 24-year-old center-half, who can also play at right-back, reports Xinhua.
"CSKA is always open to offers, but the proposals submitted by European clubs so far are of no interest to us," CSKA's sporting director Oleg Yarovinsky was quoted saying by Brazilian news portal Terra Friday.
Fernandes began his career at Gremio before joining the Russian club in 2012. He earned his first international cap in Brazil's 4-0 victory over Japan in Singapore earlier this month.
Both Manchester United and Arsenal will reportedly seek defensive reinforcements during the next European transfer window in January.
