AC Milan confirmed they will appeal against Italain striker Mario Balotelli's three-match ban.
Balotelli received a red card for confronting the officials after Milan's 1-2 loss to Napoli at home Sunday, reports Xinhua.
The disciplinary committee decided Monday to hand him a three-game suspension. The injury-depleted Rossoneri though, are going to appeal that decision.
A statement on their official website read Monday: "Milan announces that we will complain against the suspensions of Mario Balotelli and the Curva Sud stand."
The San Siro's Curva Sud stand has been ordered to be closed for one match following incidents of racial abuse towards opposition fans during the Sunday game.
