Former All-Star centre Shaquille O'Neal will join the Sacramento Kings as a minor owner soon, the National Basketball Association club announced.
Owned by Indian Vivek Ranadive, the Kings said O'Neal acquired a minority stake in the team and will be introduced Tuesday in Sacramento, reports Xinhua.
O'Neal, one of the best centres in the NBA history, retired after the 2010-2011 season and worked as an analyst for TNT.
