Pop singer Miley Cyrus has become the victim of swatting for the second time.

It was reported that a call was received from Cyrus's home here Friday claiming a crime at the premise. The 20-year-old was swatted in August 2012 as well when she was not at home, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Last month even Rihanna fell prey to swatting. Police received a call claiming two armed men were arguing at her Pacific Palisades home and someone has been shot.

Other victims include Paris Hilton, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and the Kardashian family.

Swatting is a situation when pranksters trick emergency services based on false reports.
