An 11-year-old boy was killed and three others were left seriously injured in crude bomb explosion in West Bengal's Murshidabad district, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred in Raghunathganj on Thursday when the children, while playing inside an under-construction building, stumbled across a bag containing crude bombs.

"Four children were injured in the explosion. One of them, Raju Sheikh (11), succumbed to his injuries Friday morning," said a police officer.

The condition of three others injured is stable.
