Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address five election meetings in Kerala.
On May 6, Modi will address a rally in Palakkad district which borders Tamil Nadu. He returns two days later to the state capital. On May 12, he will have stopovers at Kasargode, Alappuzha and Ernakulam.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is determined this time to open its account in the Kerala assembly. Kerala goes to the polls on May 16 to elect 140 legislators.
Other BJP leaders who will campaign in the state include its president Amit Shah and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
