Actress Jai Quehaeni, who pulled off some daring stunts without using body double in forthcoming Tamil thriller "CSK: Charles Shafiq Karthika", says the experience gave her a lot of confidence.
"Certain stunts that I performed in the film are equivalent to that of a hero in action films. From getting dropped in a 200 liter water tank with hands and legs fastened, to being dragged for nearly two hours -- I gained a lot of confidence through this experience," Quehaeni said in a statement.
She said that she got slapped for real in one of the scenes by her co-star Narayanan.
In the film, she plays one of the leads.
"After 'Aarohanam', I was determined about not doing any films. But when director Sathiya narrated me the story, I had to put down my decision," she said.
The film, directed by Sathiyamoorthy, also features Sharan and Vimal in important roles.
