The Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 122-111 at the Toyota Center, with seven players reaching double figures.
The Rockets took control of the game Saturday night from start to finish and had their biggest lead of 23 points in the second quarter. Houston played good offence throughout the game, barely giving Denver any opportunity to narrow the gap, reports Xinhua.
Seven Rockets players finished the game with double digit scoring. Howard led the way with 25 points. Chandler Parsons added 20. Terrence Jones, who started for the third straight game had season-highs of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Denver guard Ty Lawson scored 28 points while adding 17 assists. Forwards Wilson Chandler and J.J. Hickson had 14 points apiece as the team had its seven-game win streak snapped.
