No corruption case in Pakistan in six months: Minister

No case of corruption has been registered in Pakistan during the six months of the present Nawaz Sharif-led government, a minister said Tuesday.

Ahsan Iqbal, minister for planning and development, said that due to transparent fiscal policies and zero tolerance for malpractices, no corruption case was reported during the six months of the present government, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

The minister was addressing the 16th Sustainable Development Policy Institute Conference here.

He said the government was also determined to eradicate the menace of corruption from the country for sustainable development.
