One person has been arrested on the charge of shooting at and injuring a person in Rohini in north Delhi and four countrymade firearms and 12 cartridges seized from him, police said on Saturday.
"Accused Mukesh Chhikara, 20, of Haryana entered into a scuffle with a co-villager Pramod in Rohini on May 19. He later returned with two accomplices and shot at Pramod," Deputy Commissioner of Police Rishi Pal told IANS.
Pramod sustained gunshot injuries on his shoulder and is admitted in hospital.
Police said Mukesh, who was arrested on Friday, has confessed to the crime and disclosed the names of his accomplices. Police has registered a case.
