Atif Aslam gave a hit romantic number "Tere Bin" in Onir's directorial "Bas Ek Pal" and now the filmmaker has confirmed that the Pakistani singing sensation is going to croon for his next film "Shab" too. He says that it will be an "Aur Ek Pal" moment for Atif's fans.
"I have been bombarded with my fans asking that I include Atif in 'Shab' music. Everyone was asking me to recreate the magic of 'Bas Ek Pal', so I think I have to give them 'Aur Ek Pal'. He is going to be part of the film," Onir told IANS over phone from Mumbai when asked whether Atif is going to sing for his next film.
Onir is excited about the music album of the movie for which Arijit Singh has also lent his voice.
Some of Atif's fans were upset as there is no song by him in "Shab". Onir had recently tweeted that they are shooting three promotional music videos for the film which have songs by Mohammed Irfan, KK and Mithoon as well.
As soon as the news came out, Atif's fans bombarded the filmmaker with requests that he add the singer's track in the film too.
The movie, written, produced, directed and edited by Onir, has been widely shot in Delhi, and features Raveena Tandon.
Talking about the release of the film, he said: "We should release the music post-Diwali, followed by the release of the film. It is in the last stages of post-production right now but it's more or less ready. I am really excited about the film as it's my most precious project," he said.
