Eating out is fun, but if you want to save money and enjoy delicacies prepared by experts, try ordering online, suggests a survey.

A survey conducted by food portal TastyKhana.in on consumers in metros reveals that a consumer saves from 20 percent to 50 percent per order while ordering food online.

"The trend has been frequently observed amongst the professionals wherein they can reach out to any and all restaurants of their choice without any hassle."

"Across the cities we have experienced that online food ordering is picking up owing to the fact that it helps consumers in saving a chunk of their money also," Shachin Bharadwaj, CEO and founder of TastyKhana.in, said in a statement.
