Deepika Padukone in filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's next project? The actress is surprised by the rumours, says her spokesperson.

There are reports that the "Chennai Express" star might sign Bhandarkar's upcoming film, but a clarification from the actress's end has been issued to scotch the rumours.

"We have not been approached for the film," her spokesperson said in a statement.

She is currently busy with Farah Khan's "Happy New Year" and will soon start shooting for Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film "Tamaasha" with Ranbir Kapoor.

Rahul Bose battles Kolkata heat for next

Actor Rahul Bose is in his hometown Kolkata for a film shoot, and he is struggling with the soaring temperature.

"Filming in 40 degrees on Elliot Road, where church bells just chimed followed by the Azaan," he posted on Twitter Friday.

He flew from here to Kolkata Thursday and urged residents of the Maximum City to vote in large numbers.
