Party in the morning with GymTrekker

If the idea of being healthy has finally hit you hard, sleep early and wake up for a party in the morning with power yoga, zumba and health drinks.

GymTrekker, India's first online portal which consolidates health and fitness solutions on a single platform, is all set to introduce morning health party - a new concept to fitness for the health freaks in India.

Along with car service provider Ola Cabs, India's largest chain of gyms and fitness clubs, Talwalkars, and others, GymTrekker will host the first-ever morning health party titled "DawnTrekker" in Mumbai on December 6.

"With work hours stretching beyond normal limits and a sedentary lifestyle pervading our daily lives, it has become important to adopt a proper fitness regime to keep ourselves healthy. DawnTrekker is a pioneering endeavour on the city's fitness landscape," Sanmati Pande, CEO of GymTrekker, said in a statement.

After Mumbai, where it will be a regular feature, the organisers are planning to expand the same concept to 15 cities to spread the message of healthy mornings.

Participants will get to groove and move to feet-tapping music and dance moves enhanced with Zumba and power yoga workout sessions.

The intermingling of dance, music and fitness workouts is meant to create an altogether new creative dimension experience for the fitness aficionado.

"Peppered with contemporary dance and music sessions, it is aimed to encourage everyone to ingrain a culture of fitness and create a connect point between fitness lovers," added Pande.

The party is expected to be attended by a host of celebrities including "Hate Story 3" actor Daisy Shah and fitness buffs at Radio Bar in Khar (west) from 6 a.m.
