It was a pleasant day in the capital Saturday with the maximum temperature being recorded three notches below average at 30.8 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast light rains Sunday.
The minimum temperature Saturday settled 19.9 degrees Celsius while humidity wavered between a high and low of 95 and 69 percent.
"The sky will be partly cloudy on Sunday. Light showers are also expected in various parts of the capital," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 31 and 22 degrees Celsius.
