President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday condoled the deaths in a building collapse in Delhi a day ago.
In his message to Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung, the president also called upon concerned authorities to provide all possible aid to the bereaved families as well as medical assistance to the injured.
"Please convey my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. I wish speedy recovery to the injured persons," Mukherjee said, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement.
A five-storey building collapsed in Vishnu Garden area of west Delhi, killing five people and injuring 13 others.
