Filmmaker Priyadarshan has teamed up with actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin for the yet-untitled Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Maheshinte Prathikaaram". The project will roll from July 19.
Moonshot Entertainment, the makers of the film, in a statement said that the principal shooting will commence from July 19.
The film, according to the makers, will be predominantly shot in Kuttralam and Tenkasi in Tamil Nadu.
Parvatii Nair and Namitha Pramod play the leading ladies.
The supporting cast includes MS Bhaskar and Samuthirakani, who will also double up as the film's dialogue writer.
Darbuka Siva has been roped in to compose music.
