Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrencce's latest Tamil outing "Kanchana 2" is setting the cash registers ringing. To cash in on the overwhelming success, he has now planned to shoot a promo video with lead actresses Taapsee Pannu and Nitya Menen.
Both Taapsee and Nitya were appreciated for their performances in the movie, which has turned out to be a blockbuster.
"I had originally planned to shoot a video song with Taapsee and Nitya to be included in the film's end credits. But it couldn't happen due to various reasons. Since the movie has been received well, we've decided to shoot a promo video," Lawrencce told IANS.
"It will be a hip-hop number. We've already shot Taapsee's portions and will soon shoot Nitya's portion," he said.
The promo song won't be included in the movie and instead will be released on TV and Youtube.
"Kanchana 2" has raked in over Rs.40 crore at the box office in Tamil Nadu, in two weeks since its release.
