Indian athlete Rajender Singh finished 11th among 17 participants in the men's javelin throw final of the 17th Asian Games here Thursday.
Rajender's best attempt of 73.43 metres came on his first try, out of three, but it was considerably below his personal best of 79.32m.
China's Zhao Qinggang won gold with a best throw of 89.15m in his final attempt to set a new Asian and Asiad record at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
Japan's Ryohei Arai, with a best throw of 84.42m, won silver while Uzbekistan's Ivan Zaytsev threw his season's best of 83.68m to claim bronze.
