Home Minister Rajnath Singh Thursday assured of full assistance in the rescue and relief work in a landslide triggered by heavy rain in Pune.

At least 25 people were killed and over 160 trapped under a hillock which crashed on Malin village Wednesday.

"The government is fully ready to give assistance of all kinds," said Rajnath Singh, who visited the site.

He said what triggered the landslide can only be known after a proper investigation.
