Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric sustained an injury to the articular cartilage of his left knee, the Spanish club announced on Saturday.
The Croatian player missed the training session on Saturday due to discomfort and underwent medical examination, which confirmed the injury, reports Efe.
According to Real Madrid's medical staff, Modric will not play against Eibar on Sunday due to this injury.
