Ronaldinho will return from injury for Atletico Mineiro's final Campeonato Brasileiro match of the season against Vitoria next Sunday.
His availability provides a timely boost to Atletico as they prepare for the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco later this month, Xinhua reported.
Ronaldinho has not played since he got injured while training in September.
"We are going to have him (Ronaldinho) for our next match," Atletico coach Cuca said. "But we don't know yet if he is going to be able to get through 90 minutes."
Featuring each of FIFA's six continental club champions plus the host nation's league winners, the Club World Cup will be played from December 11 to 21.
Atletico earned the right to play in the tournament by winning the Copa Libertadores final against Paraguay's Olimpia in July.
The Brazilian outfit are favourites to meet European champions Bayern Munich in the final.
