Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar, who is seen judging TV show "Mazaak Mazaak Mein", was surprised with a belated birthday party on the set of the comedy show.

Shoaib, who turned 41 on August 13, decided to celebrate his birthday with his family in Pakistan, but when he joined back, the cast and crew of "Mazaak Mazaak Mein" celebrated his birthday on the sets.

"Life continues to surprise me. Yet another big one came when my team of 'Mazaak Mazaak Mein' did an extremely warm cake cutting for me on the sets in Mumbai," Shoaib said in a statement.

"The shoot had just finished and everyone seemed in a rush to leave including me as I was extremely hungry. Then I got this beautiful surprise," he added.

Shoaib is seen as a judge on the Life OK show alongside veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.

The show is based on the idiosyncrasies of various regions represented by teams of comic superstars.

Tiger Shroff showcases singing talent on TV

Actor Tiger Shroff, who is known for his acting and dancing skills, stepped into a new role to sing a song on the singing reality show "The Voice India Kids".

It all happened when a contestant named Ayat Sheikh asked the "Heropanti" actor to join her on stage to sing.

"Tiger was really impressed by Ayat's performance. He went ahead and dedicated the song 'Sab tera' to her. The audiences who have always witnessed Tiger dancing were completely taken aback by this new talent of his and were seen singing along with him," said a source from the set.

Tiger appeared on the &TV show to promote his new film "A Flying Jatt", which released on Thursday on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.

Son fulfills father's dream to meet Shilpa Shetty

Actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty Kundra got a chance to meet her "big fan" on the upcoming children dance reality show "Super Dancer" when a contestant named Pancham Bhagvati fulfilled his father Vikas Bhagvati's dream to meet his favourite actress.

Shilpa will next be seen as a judge in TV show "Super Dancer".

When Pancham impressed everyone with his performance during the auditions of the show, he revealed that his father pushed him to give his best so that he could also utilise the opportunity to meet Shilpa in person.

His revelation left fellow judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor in splits and they called his father on stage to express his love for Shilpa."

"It is good fortune that because of Pancham I could meet my favourite actress Shilpa Shetty. I am and will always remain a big fan of her," Vikas said in a statement.

To be aired on Sony Entertainment Television, "Super Dancer" will feature children in the 5-13 age group. The show will beam from September 10.
