Director James Mangold has confirmed that the shooting of the third "Wolverine" movie will start in early 2016.
The director confirmed the shooting plan in response to a question that he came across on his micro-blogging website Twitter account, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"When does filming start for Wolverine 3," a fan tweeted to Mangold.
To that, he replied: "Early next year."
Details of the upcoming film are not yet available. While the title is yet to be locked, the movie has been planned for release March 3, 2017. Mangold is set to direct again from a script written by David James Kelly.
The buzz is that Patrick Stewart will appear alongside Hugh Jackman in the upcoming third film, but there's no official word yet from the studio regarding the matter.
