A Siberian husky dog was stolen while the owner had taken it out for a walk, police said on Monday.
According to police, Aftaab Khan, resident of Vasant Kunj area of south Delhi had taken the dog for a morning walk on Friday when four to five people arrived in a Innova car and took away the animal.
"The dog was walking behind the owner and did not have a chain tied around his neck. Some unidentified persons took him away in a car," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Nupur Bharadwaj told IANS.
"We have registered a complaint in the matter at Vasant Kunj South police station," she said, adding: "We are also looking for the CCTV footage of the area to track the culprits and the car."
