Brazilian football club Cruzeiro has denied speculation that highly-rated midfielder Lucas Silva is set to leave the club.
Media reports have linked the Brazil Under-23 international with a move to Real Madrid or Chelsea. But Cruzeiro's executive director Alexandre Mattos said an official approach for Silva had not been made, reports Xinhua.
"Nobody has contacted me," Mattos said Wednesday.
Silva played a pivotal role in Cruzeiro's Brazilian Serie A triumph last year and has again impressed as the Belo Horizonte bid to defend their title. It is understood Cruzeiro have placed a 20 million euro price tag on the 21-year-old.
