Pop star Pink will grace the stage at the Academy Awards for the first time.
The Grammy winner will make a special appearance at the 86th annual Academy Awards March 2 here. However, it is not yet known if she will be performing at the event or if she will simply present a golden statuette, reports contactmusic.com.
A statement from show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron reads, "We are very excited to welcome Pink to the Oscar stage for the very first time.
"She is regarded as one of the greatest voices in pop music and one of the best performers of her generation, and we are thrilled to have her join us for a highly anticipated moment on the broadcast."
The awards' broadcast will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and it will be hosted by American TV personality Ellen DeGeneres.
