Militants on Tuesday shot and injured a special police officer (SPO) in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Police said the militants barged into the house of Ashaq Hussain Lone in Pastuna village of Tral area and shot him. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors said his condition was stable.
SPOs are engaged on a fixed monthly emolument by police to fight insurgency.
