Sunny Thursday in Delhi, Friday to be similar

It was a sunny and comparatively warm Thursday in the capital as the maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 28.5 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is in store Friday, the Met office said.

"There will be light mist early morning tomorrow (Friday) and the afternoon will be warm and sunny," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 28 and 11 degrees Celsius Thursday.

The city saw shallow fog early Thursday and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 10.2 degrees Celsius.

The weather Wednesday was pleasant with the maximum and minimum temperature at 26.9 degree and 11.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
